The rules of using our service

Terms & Conditions

The terms on which Pharmacy Hub Killinarden provides this website and our online prescription and booking services. Last updated 14 July 2026.

About these terms

These terms apply when you use this website, send us a prescription, or book a service with Pharmacy Hub Killinarden. By using the site or sending us a request, you accept these terms.

If you do not accept them, please don't use the online service — you are always welcome to call us on (01) 462 9073 or call in to the pharmacy.

Who we are

Pharmacy Hub Killinarden is a pharmacy registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), at Mace, Killinarden Heights, Whitestown Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24, D24 W0CX. Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Michelle O'Hagan (MPSI).

A prescription request is a request, not a guarantee

When you send us a prescription or a repeat request, you are asking us to dispense it. It is not accepted until one of our pharmacists has reviewed it.

Our pharmacist has a professional and legal duty to dispense safely. We may need to speak with you or your prescriber, may need to see the original prescription, and may decline to dispense where it would not be safe, appropriate or lawful. If that happens we will tell you, and explain what to do next.

Sending a photo of your script

  • You must be the patient, or authorised to act on their behalf.
  • The photo must be clear, complete, and must not be altered in any way.
  • A photo does not always replace the original. For some medicines — including controlled drugs — we must receive the original paper prescription before we can dispense.
  • Sending a photo does not reserve stock. We will tell you if an item is not in stock.

Bookings and consultations

Booking a time online is a request for an appointment. We will confirm it with you. Please let us know if you can no longer come, so we can offer the slot to someone else.

The Common Conditions Service

The HSE Common Conditions Service is free and covers a defined list of conditions. Each condition has clinical criteria — for example about age, pregnancy or symptoms.

Our pharmacist will assess you and, if the service is not suitable for you, will refer you to your GP or the right service. That is a clinical decision and is made in your interest.

Weight-loss service

Our weight-loss service involves prescription-only medicines. They are supplied only after a clinical assessment by our pharmacist, and only where they are suitable and safe for you.

We may decline to supply, or may stop treatment, on clinical grounds. Prices shown are guide prices and may change.

This website is not medical advice

The information on this website is general information about our services. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a consultation with a pharmacist, GP or other healthcare professional.

If this is an emergency, call 112 or 999, or go to your nearest emergency department.

The information you give us

You must give us information that is accurate and complete — including your allergies, any other medicines you take, and any conditions we ask about.

We rely on what you tell us in order to dispense safely. If the information you give us is wrong or incomplete, we may not be able to help you safely.

Prices

Any prices shown on this website are guide prices and may change. What you actually pay for a medicine depends on your eligibility — for example under the Medical Card (GMS), the Drugs Payment Scheme (DPS), or the Long-Term Illness scheme. We will always be clear about cost before you go ahead.

Availability of the website

We try to keep this website available and working, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may suspend or withdraw it, or change it, at any time.

If the website is unavailable and you need us, please call the pharmacy on (01) 462 9073.

Intellectual property

The content, branding and design of this website belong to Pharmacy Hub Killinarden or its licensors, and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for any breach of your legal rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.

Your privacy

How we handle your personal and health information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The version in force is the one published on this page when you use the service.
